So, I got your attention... no I do not know of any specific class-action suit against Apple over its iPhone, however I do want to say that there should be one and my story will show why.

If it is Google, it must be search

If it carries the Google label, then undoubtedly search will be involved. Marc Vanlerberghe, Google’s Product Marketing Director, has been explaining how Google is integrating search into Android and the T-mobile G1 phone and it’s already impressive. There is also a Google video that goes into more details. (Tip of the hat to SearchEngineWatch)

1. SSH into your phone with Cyberduck or Fugu.

2. Change dir to /etc/

3. Rename hosts.php to hosts.backup

4. Download this file and copy it to your iPhone.

5. Restart. That's it.

To reverse the "hack" just delete the hosts.php and rename hosts.backup to hosts.php
