After a few exciting weeks of completing various tasks centered around the N96, like all good things - The N96 Challenge has come to an end. The competition was to win five N96 trials for you, the reader and we shall very soon find out if we have been successful. I can assure you that we tried our level best.

If you recall, the third task in N96 Challenge to win you five N96 trials was to play a video on the TV via the N96’s TV-Out feature. The catch was that they want the projection needed to be full of ‘fireworks’, now of course they did not mean ‘fireworks’ literally.

The third and penultimate task in the N96 Challenge is here and I am thinking Deja Vu! If you recall the last task was to stream live video from the N96 and since I had no connectivity, I shot the video using the N96 and then played it back on the TV via the N96 and used the second N96 to live QIK the stream. Now the current task also revolves around TV-Out.

One more step closer to winning 5 N96 trials for you - Task II is now complete. The difficulty I had was the lack of 3G which would have enabled me to stream content ‘live’, however I had an idea that would not only enable me to show off the N96’s streaming capability via either QIK or Flixwagon but also showcase its TV-out functionality.

I had been away these past few days, attending a competition which I am pleased to say, I was successful at. Today when I got back, I had an old fashioned scroll waiting for me. The scroll that would reveal the second task in the Face The Task Challenge to win to five N96 trials for you. (I really love this form of communication).
